WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - A Pocatello, Idaho, man changed his plea to guilty of various drug and explosives charges.

Ross Petrie was first charged with release of destructive forces in 2022. Police say they found more than 1,500 pounds of explosives in a townhouse where he lived. Petrie was later charged with ten other crimes including manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of a bomb.

In Northwest District Court Friday, Petrie took a plea agreement, pleading guilty to four felonies: release of destructive forces, manufacturing methamphetamine, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a bomb.

Petrie is on his third lawyer after the first two withdrew from the proceedings.

Judge Kirsten Sjue has issued a pre-sentence investigation.
