Bismarck's Main Street Minute: Caffe Aroma relocates, Bismarck Cancer Center expands

BISMARCK, N.D. - A new location for a popular Bismarck coffee shop and remodeling to the Bismarck Cancer Center are just a few businesses changing in the area.

Caffe Aroma moved a block from their original spot on Third Street to Fourth Street, where the owners say it's filtering in more business.

"How crazy busy we've been in the last three weeks with the snow storm, no parking downtown, and it being 0 degrees as a high. I can't even imagine what this spring will bring, what this summer is going to bring," says Tina Wetzel, co-owner.

Caffe Aroma isn't the only business going through changes, the Cancer Center on Eight Street is also remodeling to have more space for its patients. The Executive Director and Radiation Therapy Manager say it's because they want their patients to feel more comfortable during treatments.

"The clinic has grown over the years, and we seem to be using every square inch that we possibly can, so we want to make it more comfortable for our patients. We are increasing our waiting room space and increasing our exam rooms, number of exam rooms, for our patients to be seen in. And also adding some rooms for all of our support services," says Amy Gross, Executive Director.

The expansion is expected to be completed in the late spring.
