The District closing permanently on Sunday
Six restaurants in Downtown Bismarck, known as The District, will be closing permanently at 4 p.m. on Sunday. The restaurants include The Vault, Lucky Ducks, Avery's Eatery, J60, The Lillipad and The Pond, located on 3rd Street.
The announcement was shared on Facebook.
This decision comes just months after Bismarck Police conducted a drug raid in the restaurant.
The post said, "Throughout the years we have had our moments of joy and our moments of heartache. Today will, by far, be the hardest day in the books. With heavy hearts, we regret to inform you that tomorrow, June 17th, 2018 we will officially lock our doors for the last time. Due to the recent false allegations made on social media, by some of our local media and other local agencies we have been forced to make this decision. Lucky Ducks, The Pond, Avery's AM Eatery, J60, The Lillipad and The Vault have nothing but gratitude for the love and support we have received from our family, team, friends and YOU- our dear customers. From the bottom of our hearts, we truly thank you. Please stop in to say your farewell to, what we had hoped to be, forever. With that being said, tomorrow at 4pm you don't have to go home but you can't stay here."
