VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (Gray News) - A 21-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly posting a photo of herself with a caption that she was going to shoot President Trump.

“We are not going to tolerate threats to assassinate the president,” the Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood wrote in a social media post on Oct. 30.

Allison Albro was charged with written threats to kill and unlawful use of a communications device after allegedly writing, “Going to the trump rally in my city so I can shoot him with my Glock! Wish me luck guys!!” the night before.

President Trump was scheduled to hold a campaign rally on Oct. 30.

According to Chitwood, the department’s Domestic Security Unit and U.S. Secret Service went to Albro’s home. She reportedly told officers she did not have access to weapons.

“I would strongly advise anyone else thinking of posting a “joke” along these lines to think twice,” Chitwood wrote.
