Williams County finishes agreements of ownership for Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds

WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - The Upper Missouri Fairgrounds in Williston is now owned by Williams County.

The purchase of the facility was finalized this week, wrapping up five months of leasing updates with various organizations.

The Upper Missouri Valley Fair Association, the prior owners, will still be in charge of the fair and 4-H achievement days.

County Administrator Helen Askim said they’ll be working with the organizations to create a long-term plan for improvements.
