TIOGA, N.D. (KUMV) - A woman charged with stealing from her former workplace in Tioga waived her preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty on Wednesday.
Prosecutors say Karen Odegaard took about $12,000 from a vault at Western Cooperative Credit Union and deposited it into her own account back in October. Her managers didn’t realize the money was missing until December.
According to court documents, Odegaard told police the money came from a friend, but that person denied it.
A trial is scheduled for June 15.
