Construction on Highway 2 in Williston expected to be mostly finished by end of month

WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - Williston drivers should be clear of construction on Highway 2 by the end of the month.

Officials with Reede Construction say most of the significant construction on the Highway 2 and 2nd Avenue West intersection will be completed by the end of October, weather permitting.

Crews have been working since the spring to reconfigure the road to improve traffic and provide easier access to the Williston Square Development.

Next year, crews will work on the permanent striping and final touches.
