Death at Epping-Springbrook Dam ruled accidental

WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - The Williams County Sheriff’s Office says a death reported at the Epping-Springbrook Dam last week was accidental.

A spokesperson with the department says it was a tragic incident tied to an existing medical condition.

Paramedics on Sept. 1 say they responded to a call about an unconscious female in the water.

They tried CPR while on the way to the hospital, but she was eventually pronounced deceased.
