Dakota Drive construction looks to improve Williston Square

WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - Construction crews are making progress in Williston to improve the 2nd Avenue and 26th Street intersection.

When completed, the new design will make it easier for people to get to the Williston Square Development.

This week, city leaders celebrated the completion of Dakota Drive, which will connect to Highway 2 once that project is finished later this year.

The road will help provide traffic access and relief for various businesses, including the newly opened Taco Bell and Slim Chickens.

Other projects under construction at Williston Square include a new elementary school and 7Brew Coffee.
