BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Senators rejected the Attorney General’s budget bill, forcing lawmakers to do a rewrite.

The move comes two days after the House approved it.

Senators mentioned a couple of issues with the text, including provisions on the 24/7 sobriety program and hiring an additional employee for a trust fund.

The vaping registry, which was removed, is expected to stay out of the bill.
