Sanford continues to expand services at Williston clinic

WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - Officials at Sanford Health say more services are coming to Williston at the 11th and Gate Clinic.

Chief Operating Officer Fred Fridley said pediatric and sports medicine providers will be in Williston every third Tuesday of each month starting in May.

Sanford acquired the clinic last year, which previously operated as a women’s health center. While keeping obstetrics and gynecology services, Sanford added other specialties, including behavioral health and diabetes education.

“By expanding our services, we are able to meet the increasing demand for care in Williston and ensure the community receives the support they need to live healthier lives,” said Fridley.

Fridley said part of their future plan for expansion includes more orthopedics outreach and an in-person provider for high-risk pregnancies.
