Jason Germundson named Williston Superintendent

WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - Jason Germundson was chosen as the newest superintendent of the Williston Basin School District.

The board selected Germundson Monday afternoon following a month of interviews and committee recommendations. Froid, Montana, Superintendent Steven Mayhue was the other finalist.

Germundson has served as the interim superintendent since January and has been a part of the district for nearly 20 years.

Germundson and the board will start negotiating his contract, which will start in July.

Germundson will be the third superintendent for the district in five years.
