WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - Police arrested a Williston woman for stealing materials from her former company.

Court documents indicate Jonna Stroh repeatedly stole spools of copper wiring last summer. The estimated value of her thefts is at least $1.4 million.

Police say Stroh admitted to the company that she stole the material in October. She said she needed the money after being involved in a cryptocurrency scam.

Stroh faces a single count of theft over $50 thousand. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 2.
