Jury trial for Atlas Power civil lawsuit scheduled for April 2025

WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - A trial date has been set for next spring for the lawsuit against Atlas Power over its data center west of Williston.

At a scheduling conference Thursday, both parties agreed to a two-week jury trial from April 14-25. Six jurors and an alternate will be sworn in. Northwest District Court Judge Kristen Sjue will preside.

A total of 22 residents who live near the data center are suing Atlas and seeking injunctive relief over claims of excessive noise.

The next court appearance is a pretrial scheduled for March 31.
