BISMARCK, N.D. - Gate City Bank reached out to the Bismarck Airport federal workers to show just how much the unpaid workers mean to the community.

Gate City Bank partnered with Pancheros Mexican Grill to host lunch for the Transportation Security Administration and air traffic control. The bank also extended the Better Life Personal Loan to the workers as a result of the government shutdown.

The bank’s Senior Vice President Norman Clark said, “We just want to recognize that these are our friends, family, people in the community. We understand when members of our community are going through something tough, and this is certainly that.”

Gate City hopes that by offering a free meal and the Better Life Loan, it will alleviate some of the financial burdens for the federal workers and their families.
