MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - North Dakota’s commercial airports are seeing a 20% passenger surge, according to a report from the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission.
In March, about 123,000 passengers boarded aircraft across the state’s eight commercial service airports. It’s the highest monthly total in state history.
The commission said March is one of the busiest months for air travel in the Peace Garden State, largely driven by spring break.
They said this year, it increased even more as airlines expanded seat capacity and added more flights.
The report shows Delta Air Lines boarded the most passengers, with close to 39,000 people.
