WAUKESHA, Wisc. (KMOT) – A federal judge in Wisconsin sentenced a 41-year-old woman to 19 years in prison for trafficking young women and forcing them to solicit sex across the country, including in North Dakota.

According to a report from the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Colette Mahan, also known as ‘Pimpin’ Amanda,’ pleaded guilty to sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion in May.

Investigators said she trafficked numerous victims, some as young as 14, over a period of at least 17 years.

The report indicates at times she assaulted the victims and demanded they turn over all profits to her.

Federal prosecutors said she made the victims solicit sex dates in 11 different states.

The release from federal prosecutors does not detail how many victims were forced to work in North Dakota, or where in the state the encounters took place.

Other states where victims were forced to work include: Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, Missouri, South Dakota, Kentucky, Florida and Nevada.
