Oh Ship Pack and Ship prepares to open in northern Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A new locally owned business is preparing to open in northern Bismarck with the goal of making shipping easier for customers.

Oh Ship Pack and Ship plans to offer shipping rate comparisons across multiple carriers, document and banner printing, and notary services at a single location.

Owner Brad Feldman said customers can bring in their items, and the store’s system will generate rates from all available carriers.

“Bring it in, we measure it, we weigh it, we put it in the system,” Feldman said. “It’ll actually spit out all the rates for all of the carriers that we offer at that time.”

Feldman said the concept came after he heard complaints about long lines at the post office following the removal of postal counters from several local grocery stores. He said he saw an opportunity to fill that gap by offering customers multiple shipping options in one place.

Feldman said the store is expected to open in about two weeks. It will initially offer shipping through the U.S. Postal Service, FedEx and Speedy Delivery. UPS service is expected to be added within the first month.

Oh Ship Pack & Ship is located at 121 E. Century Ave, Bismarck, N.D.
