Peacock Alley to close downtown Bismarck location after 93 years

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Peacock Alley said its lease will not be renewed, ending a 93-year run in downtown Bismarck.
Owner Dale Zimmerman said they were shocked and saddened by the decision.
They told staff they hoped to stay open through mid-June, and gave employees 72 hours to decide whether to stay. The owners said every staff member chose to remain through the end.
The final day at this location is Saturday, June 13.
Owners said they are inviting the community in to share memories and say goodbye. They are also searching for a new location.
As we have previously reported, the space that has been home to Peacock Alley inside the historic Patterson Place building has been leased to North Dakota Hospitality Group, the team behind The Paddle Trap and Shakers on 3rd, according to a Facebook post from the group.
North Dakota Hospitality Group said it plans to begin renovations in July, with a grand opening expected later this year.
The group also said it is leasing the space only and is not taking over the Peacock Alley business.
