Schlotzsky’s to close Nov. 27 in Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A Bismarck staple is saying goodbye as Schlotzky’s owners prepare to close the doors for good.

Co-owner Sharon Erickson said the last day the restaurant will be open is Nov. 27.

She and her partner, Bill Shalhoob, have co-run the business together for almost 24 years.

She said moving isn’t possible because they own the building.

Erickson said both the building and business have been for sale for three years, but no one showed interest in the business. So, she said when a buyer for the building came along, she knew it was time.

Erickson said she’s thankful for the community she’s grown to love, but she’s ready for a break.
