BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Senator John Hoeven’s office made the announcement Friday that the TSA is awarding 34 North Dakota officers $10,000 for extraordinary work during the government shutdown.

Last month, we revealed that every North Dakota TSA agent maintained perfect attendance during the government shutdown, and worked without pay for 43 days.

The agency may be awarding more local security officers bonuses by the end of the month.
