Sanders endorses Clinton at New Hampshire rally

The Democratic primary is officially over.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, endorses former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination for president at a rally in New Hampshire.

While Sanders lost the nomination numerically close to a month ago, he had not officially backed out.

Technically, his campaign will still be active until the Democratic National Convention for procedural reasons.

The Clinton and Sanders campaigns are still negotiating what his roll will be in the campaign. Sanders has said, however, ""I'm going to do everything I can to defeat Donald Trump."
