The winter storms have some ranchers working overtime to protect their herds.
David Remmick of Robinson dug one of his cows out with his loader during Tuesday's blizzard.
The cows is a 10-year-old Simmental cross.
Remmick had to dig a 70-foot trench through eight-foot snow drifts to free it. The cow is fine, and he Remmick says he has not lost any cows due to the storm.
