Mandan man arrested after punching a woman, threatening to kill her

BISMARCK, N.D. - A Mandan man was arrested Tuesday morning after punching a woman in the face and threatening to kill her.

Mandan police say 21-year-old Dylan Johannes Butler forced his way into a woman's car at a gas station on East Main Street in Mandan and punched her in the face and asked her if she was ready to die.

The woman was able to escape and call police. When Butler was being taken to jail by police he started hitting his head against the cage in the patrol vehicle causing injuries. Butler was taken to the hospital for injuries.

Butler was arrested for terrorizing, Simple Domestic Assault, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief.
