In a media statement, the Burleigh County Sheriff's Department is warning the public of two reports of Suspicious Activity and Fraud.

Both incidents describe two younger males, in their late teens or early 20's, requesting donations for a "summer fun run" that the Salvation Army was putting together.

One of the individuals was described as Caucasian and the other black. No other description is available. They were said to be driving a white 2011 Chevrolet Impala with N.D. license # 929 BWH.

The Sheriff's Department has confirmed that the Salvation Army is not collecting donations for a "summer fun run" and asks the public not to provide money to these individuals.

Anyone with information is urged to reach out to the Burleigh County Sheriff's Department at 701-222-6651.
