Chef Tyler's Pickled Onion



Ingredients

• 1 cup red wine
• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 T salt

1. bring to boil
2. pour over thin sliced red onion
3. Store in air tight jar, up to a week

Chef Tyler's Whole Grain Mustard

• Mustard seed
• vinegar
• white wine (or beer)
• honey or maple
• turmeric
• salt
• water to thin

Directions

1. Everything but water, in a bowl, cover and let stand for up to 48 hours
2. Blend
3. Add water to thin to desired consistency
