Chef Tyler's Pan Seared Brussels



Ingredients

• brussels sprouts (cleaned, trimmed, split in half)
• fat (olive oil, bacon fat, veg oil)
• salt and pepper
• garlic/shallot
• butter
• bacon bits
• sweet component (pom seeds, jam/jelly, balsamic)
1. preheat pan, add oil
2. add brussels cut side down
3. season salt and pepper
4. DONT TOUCH, BE PATIENT
5. When BROWN, add garlic, shallot, butter and bacon bits, and toss
6. Finish with pom seeds, or a spoonful of marmalade (OR BOTH!)
