Chef Trevor's Caramel Apple Fondue


1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tsp kosher salt


Melt sugar completely, carefully stir in butter 1 tbls at a time, carefully stir in cream and salt. Remove from heat and allow to cool to eating temperature
Chop and seed apples of choice( do not peel), soak in cold water with lemon juice or lemon lime soda to prevent discoloration.
