Chef Trevor's Crustless Carmel Apple Pie


3 cups thinly sliced tart apples
Spread evenly in a greased pie plate
1/2 cup Bisquick
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbl softened butter
1 tsp cinnamon
2 eggs
Pour over apples and top with streusel

Streusel topping:
1/2 cup Bisquick
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tbls cold butter
Bake at 350 for an hour
Top with Caramel


Salted caramel:
In a 2 quart sauce pan Melt 1 cup white sugar over medium high heat stirring constantly.
Once sugar has melted completely add 4 Tbls of butter. Once butter has melted add 1/2 cup heavy cream(milk works but cream is much better) all the while stirring constantly. Cook for 30 seconds to a minute and remove from heat. Stir in 1 tsp salt. Allow to cool for 20 minutes. Holds as a nice sauce at room temp for a couple days.
