UPD: Name Released in Minot Homicide​

Minot Police have identified the victim of the homicide in Northwest Minot yesterday as 30-year-old Angila S. Wilder.

They she died under suspicious circumstances.
The investigation is ongoing and an autopsy is scheduled for next week. Anyone with information is asked to call 852-0111.

Original story: A suspicious death in northwest Minot home kept the police department busy all day.

Police officers guarded the residence while crime scene technicians processed the scene.

The death was ruled a homicide, according to a press release from the Minot Police Department. However, as of 4:30 p.m., scene technicians were still at work.

The body of a 30-year-old woman was discovered in the residence after a call came into the police department just after 7 Friday morning. The Investigations Division is looking into all possible leads.

"Right now, we are just maintaining scene security because this is an ongoing investigation, but we can't disclose any information currently," said Officer Watterud, Minot Police Department.

The identity of the victim will be released Saturday to allow officials to notify the family.
