The North Dakota Primary Elections had some big contests June 14.

Doug Burgum defeated Wayne Stenejhem and Paul Sorum to win the Republican gubernatorial nomination. He will run against Democratic nominee Marvin Nelson in November.

Measure 1, which would enable corporate swine and dairy farms in North Dakota failed.
