The Mountrail County Sheriff's Department has released information on an oil treater fire that broke out on Friday.
Two men were inside the oil treater building about five miles southwest of Ross when flames came out of the structure.
Twenty-seven-year-old Kyle Stipcich and 30-year-old Jonathon Henderson were both severely burned.
Henderson jumped into the snow to put out the fire on his clothing. Three people nearby extinguished the flames on Stipcich.
Stipcich has severe burns on the lower half of his body and was taken to a burn unit in St. Paul.
Henderson is being treated at Trinity Hospital in Minot with burns on the upper half of his body, including his face and head.
The two men work for Riverside Welding in Williston, and the well is controlled by Oasis in Williston.
