It’s not secret Carson Wentz has a passion for hunting, so it shouldn’t surprise you that he was back in his home state during the Eagles’ bye week to bag a bird or two.
This time he brought one of his friends from Philly with him, Major League All-Star, Mike Trout of the Angels. "Mike and I when we go hunting we hang out,” says Wentz. “We don't talk much baseball or football. We keep it strictly hunting and just hanging out and having a good time that's our time to get away from sports and everything so we don't talk too much about it."
Reporter, "are there any ducks left in the Dakotas?" Wentz responds, "there's lots of ducks and geese in North Dakota. We had a great trip and like I said, it was just a perfect time for me and some of my friends and family to just all get together and get away and get refreshed, recharged for the second half of the season."
Since his return from the knee injury, Wentz has been very accurate. Carson has completed over 70 percent of his passes. He also has 13 touchdowns and only two interceptions.
Wentz and the Eagles play the prime-time game on NBC’s Sunday Night Football this weekend. Philly is hosting the Dallas Cowboys.
