Undefeated Imperials

Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter has one more game left in the regular season, and they enter it undefeated. The Imperials beat the Linton-HMB Lions last week 47-18. Despite the convincing score, the players think they can improve.

Senior Quarterback, Jamison Fettig said: "Our D-line has got to get home more. We might have had one sack tonight, we just got to get home. And on the offensive side, can't turn it over. I had two picks tonight. We got to clean it up for next week."

"Well, on our offense did pretty good, we kept scoring, we shouldn't of had those picks, or we shouldn't of thrown interceptions, but I think we played pretty good and I think our defensive line, like Jamison said, our defensive line just needs to get home more, put more pressure on the quarterback, so our other guys don't have to be trying to not pass down," said Tyler Long, senior lineman.

As the Imperials move forward, they are preparing for the final game of the regular season. They Host Richland on Friday, and Head Coach of the Imperials, Kelly McCleary said: "We're going to see a lot of passing next week again. Richland throws the ball more than any other team in the state. So it was good to see kind of a little bit of that, hopefully next week we can get a little better pressure, but just, moving on to next week."

You can hear from the Imperials tomorrow as Kaleigh puts a couple of their seniors in the Sports Spotlight.
