It’s not the first time, and it probably won’t be the last time. Bismarck State’s Amber Stevahn is the Mon-Dak Conference Player of the Week.
The freshman from Shiloh Christian scored 83 points in the Mystics trip to Arizona, including 44 in one game.
"Amber is playing really well and getting up and down the court. She's kind of a work horse. She can run the floor very, very well and her jump shot has come a long way and working with the left hand also. I have to give credit to our other athletes on the court that give her the ball at the right spot and the right time," said Mystics Head Coach Marv Pederson.
BSC went 2-1 during their southern trip, and the next time Amber and the Mystics will be on the floor, is tomorrow. Miles Community College will be at the Armory for a women’s and men’s doubleheader.
