The Class-A boys gave a pair of teammates that have been playing together longer than the duo from Killdeer. It helps that they are twin brothers.
Wednesday's Lion’s game in Fargo was the final time Cameron and Trae Steckler of Mandan will be competing on the same team, at the same time.
"It's kind of crazy to think that after 18 years we're actually going to go to different schools and split up and that it's actually happening," said Cameron.
Cameron is heading to Valley City State to play basketball, while Trae is taking the football route and is going to be playing at the University of North Dakota.
