BISMARCK It's a sign that spring is on the way.
The driving range is open at Riverwood Golf Course, and the cross country ski trails are closed.
It is the first outdoor driving range open in Bismarck, but you will have to contend with a little snow and ice. Staff says it should help lighten the load from the Four Seasons dome, and give people some much needed time outside.
"I think everybody gets itchy the closer it gets to the season, and just wants to get out, and get loosened up, and get hitting. It's nice to be outside, that's a big thing," said Dwite Gorder, Bismarck.
According to staff, the range opened about a month earlier than last year, and they hope to open the rest of Riverwood's Golf Course by mid April.
