Pro's Pointer #18

BISMARCK, N.D. - If you've been paying close attention to the Pro's Pointers schedule over the years, you know today is the final one of the season.

We always wrap-up the Tuesday after Labor Day.

Johnnie has some funs things to share with us in the year-ender.

Johnnie Candle, NWC World Walleye Champion & N.D. Fishing Hall of Famer, "It's bee a great fishing season and it's far from over.

My year started out in January with an incredible trip to Venice, Louisiana, chasing giant bull redfish with some great friends.

We had an incredible time and caught some really big fish.

From there I moved into ownership of my first bass boat, and you noticed from my tips this year, I spend a lot more time chasing fish without teeth and I look forward to learning much more about that in the future.

After that it was Orlando, Florida and ICAST, the worlds largest fishing industry trade show. While I was there I got to fish for barramundi.

It's a fish that only exists in two places on earth and I got to catch a few, that was really cool! I also want to thank everybody for watching this year hopefully I brought you some of the things I've learned along the way and it's helped you catch a few more fish and create some great memories with your friends and family.

As my grandfather always told me, 'God willing and the river don't rise, I plan to be right back here neat year for year number 24.' I'm Johnnie Candle and that's this year's Pro's Pointers."
