Last year, Glen Ullin's Cameron Morman was only three spots away from qualifying for the National Finals Rodeo (N.F.R.).

This year, he finished the regular season four places higher and Morman will be in the N.F.R. for the first time in his pro rodeo career.

Morman is 14th in the world steer wrestling standings and the top-15 as of today get to compete in Las Vegas in December.

Morman won $3,236 this past week, cementing his goal of the N.F.R. and his regular season total is $76,703

After graduating from Glen Ullin in 2012, Morman went to Dickinson State where he won the College NFR championship in 2015.

Mandan's Ty Breuer heads to Las Vegas for the forth straight year and fifth in his bareback riding career.

Breuer is 9th in the world standings with $97,316.

The National Finals Rodeo starts Dec. 5.
