NDSU Plays SDSU Friday

Changes will be coming to the North Dakota State football program, but that’s after this season. Head Coach Chris Klieman accepted a position to coach at Kansas State, but until he leaves his duties in Fargo, he’s trying to take the Bison back to Frisco, to get another FCS title.

So as we look ahead to this week, the Bison will play host to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits once again in the playoffs. It’s something a lot of us predicted at the start of the post-season.

"I think everybody knew when the brackets came out, there was a good possibility of that game happening," said Klieman. "Obviously it's come to it now, we have a ton of respect for South Dakota State, I firmly believe that Stig and his crew have a bunch of respect for us because two great programs that are going to go toe-to-toe on Friday night for a chance to go to Frisco, so we'll have our work cut out for us as far as the preparation on that. We've been grinding since early morning on Sunday because we've got to get ahead of the game a little bit by a day."

So game-time between NDSU and SDSU is at 7:00 CT on ESPN2 Friday night. You can watch the Farmers Union Insurance Bison Pre-Game Show on FOX at 6:00 CT.
