Minotauros, Wings to face off Friday evening despite wintry weather

MINOT, N.D. – The Aberdeen Wings will make it to Minot to take on the Minotauros in a two-game series this Friday and Saturday, despite weather conditions over the Dakotas this week.

Concerns arose if the Wings would be able to make it to Minot, having to travel through the eastern parts of South and North Dakota to get to the Magic City.

The team informed Minotauros management they had made it to Jamestown and were making their way to Minot.

The series has playoff implications for the Minotauros: they can clinch a spot by winning both games, with a win and a loss by the Minnesota Wilderness, or if the Wilderness lose both of their games this weekend.

Puck drops at 7:35 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Pepsi Rink at Maysa Arena.
