MINOT, N.D. - Minot State University's athletic department has finally unveiled its newest attraction: the new bubble dome.
The dome has been a long-awaited and talked about addition to Herb Parker Stadium.
The dome will enable the athletic department to hold more comfortable practices and games outside during the winter.
The dome will also offer new accommodations for the community such as indoor batting cages and golfing.
Giving the community and the university family something else to be excited about and proud of.
"We've had athletes out here coaches to community members that have volunteered. As we were starting to piece it together Wednesday it looked like there was no end in sight, so now everything's kind of coming to fruition. So you do see a lot of the students especially are very excited to get in there and try it out," said Brock Weppler, MSU assistant athletic director.
The athletic department expects to be in the bubble dome as soon as possible.
