MINOT, N.D. - The Minot High School Cheerleaders are on their way to the State Fall Competition on Saturday at Fargo North.

The squad has been working for a month preparing a comprehensive line-up for the event.

"[Fans] have to look forward to all the stuff we put into it: the stunts, cheers, jumps, everything... but behind it all is a lot of passion," said senior Bryanne Thorson.

"It takes a lot to prepare. We do timeout, full routine, and then we have stunt-off, jump-off and all-around... It takes a lot of dedication," said senior Jaslin Short.

The senior class has won a combined seven state championships. There will be a Friends and Family Public Performance on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Central Campus Gymnasium.
