Maysa Arena installing turf

MINOT, N.D. - Turf is being installed at the Maysa Arena's Eck Rink for the first time. Future programs could include lacrosse, wiffleball, soccer, and off-season hockey and Trinity athlete training.

"Most years we'll have ice on the west, the turf in the middle, and then the dry floor on the Pepsi, so we have three different types of surfaces that we can have available in the summer for a variety of different uses," said Bob Gillen, Maysa Arena general manager.

Gillen says the project should be ready for lacrosse programs in the first week of May.
