Killdeer native Austin Dufault joins Lakers coaching staff

Former Killdeer High School star Austin Dufault announced that he will be joining the Los Angeles Lakers as a Coaching Associate for the upcoming season.

Dufault was Mr. Basketball for North Dakota in 2008.

He went on to play college basketball at the University of Colorado from 2008–2012.

After graduating, he traveled overseas to play Euro Basketball. During his career, Dufault has played in Czech Republic, Macedonia, Finland, France and Hungary.

Now, he begins his coaching career helping Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
