Though the high school volleyball season is over, it’s that time when Gatorade names their North Dakota Volleyball Player of the Year, and for the 2018-2019 season, that player is Century’s Lauren Ware.

The 6’5” junior middle blocker helped lead the Patriots to a 34-5 record, while winning the Class-A State Championship. During this past season, Ware had 586 kills with 187 digs, put up 86 blocks with 48 aces. Lauren also had a kill percentage of .607 with a hitting percentage of .504.

Ware is a two-time First Team All-State selection, and she finished her junior volleyball season with 1,010 kills.

On top of all her success on the volleyball court, Ware also has a 3.89 GPA, and volunteered with Peer to Peer mentoring, and with the Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry and Salvation Army.

Ware will enter her senior season at Century this fall.
