Game Week for NDSU Bison Football

FARGO, N.D. - The Bison had to give up a game at the Fargodome, but playing at Target Field in Minneapolis is an excellent trade.

North Dakota State has done a number of things to get ready to play in the Twins ballpark.

Things like having the kickers and punters practice on the dirt infield at the softball diamond. The Bison players and coaches are ready to get the season started.

"I'd be lying to you if I said I wasn't excited! Trying to take those moments and a deep breath. We have a couple--four more practices we need to get through yet. We had a great fall camp. We stayed relatively healthy. We identified who our starting quarterback was so that was priority number one and I'm looking forward to it. I think right now our team is at a place where we need to play somebody else and we've had three weeks of fall camp. it's time that we wet to compare or evaluate ourselves against someone in a different colored jersey," said NDSU Head Coach Matt Entz.

The Bison will head to the Twins Cities on Friday.

If you are not going to Target Field this weekend, you're viewing schedule is a little different. The Farmers Union Insurance Bison Football Pre-Game Show is 90-minutes long beginning at 1:30 CT on the KFYR-KVLY Bison TV Network.

Kickoff will be shortly after 3:00 CT, plus the first Sunday morning Bison Football Show with Matt Entz is this weekend as well starting at 10:30 a.m. CT.
