Former Arizona Wildcats men's basketball coach Lute Olson recovers from stroke

Former Arizona Wildcats men's basketball coach, and North Dakota native Lute Olson, suffered a stoke over the weekend but is expected to make a full recovery according to Banner University Medical Center in Tucson.

The 84-year old Mayville native was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002 and coached Arizona to 46 NCAA tournament wins. His team won the 1997 NCAA National Championship.

Olson graduated from Grand Forks Central High School, where he lead his team to a 43-38 win over Williston for the 1952 state championship.
