Fit Tips: Post-Thanksgiving workout

MINOT, N.D. - Working off your Thanksgiving feast might seem like a difficult task, but Jack Springgate has a few exercises that can help you work off a few of those calories without making you want to go back into a food coma in this week's Fit Tip.

It's not easy convincing yourself to workout the day after your Thanksgiving feast, but with stationary, low-resistance training, you can make working off that extra turkey leg as easy as pie.

After stretching, it's a great strategy to hop on a treadmill and get that heart rate pumping. If your gym has a track, that's a great way to start your workout too.

If you're still feeling a little bloated, don't try to move too much and stick to stationary, low resistance exercises.

Hopping on a bike is also a great way to keep your heart rate up while keeping the workout tough on your legs.

Finish with a slow ab routine if you can to finish your workout.

Hopefully you can try one or all of these to help you feel the way you did before the Thanksgiving feast.

Stay Active.
