Dickinson resident takes 3rd place at Spartan North American Championship

DICKINSON, N.D. - Dickinson resident Lukas Dahmus placed third last month at the Spartan North American Championship in Glen Jean, W.V.

He competed in the 30 to 39-year-old "Super" group with a time of 1:27:15.

In the "Super" division, athletes navigate up to 29 obstacles over 8 to 10 miles.

The Spartan World Championship is this weekend in North Lake Tahoe.

Athletes from 50 countries will compete.
